Job summary

Gate City Bank is seeking a Lending Solutions Analyst to join our Fargo Corporate Office. In this role, you’ll work directly with customers facing financial difficulty, helping them explore options to keep homeownership while ensuring compliance with investor and bank requirements.

This position combines customer communication, financial analysis, problem-solving, and collaboration to deliver positive outcomes for customers and the bank. Training will precede a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 3+ years in banking, lending, collections or related services.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Discuss delinquent mortgage accounts and available assistance options with customers.
• Analyze financial information to determine loss mitigation eligibility for loan modifications or repayment plans.
• Manage investor reporting and ensure regulatory and investor compliance.
• Review loan accounts, property details, disputes and bankruptcy-related matters.
• Collaborate with internal teams, investors, insurers, attorneys, and external partners to resolve complex cases.
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet deadlines and service standards.
• Support process improvements and a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Gate City Bank is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Lending Solutions Analyst to join our team. In this role, you\'ll work directly with customers experiencing financial hardship, helping them explore solutions to maintain homeownership while ensuring compliance with investor, regulatory, and bank requirements.

This position combines customer communication, financial analysis, problem-solving, and collaboration to deliver positive outcomes for customers and the bank.

What You'll Do

• Communicate with customers to discuss delinquent mortgage accounts and available assistance options.
• Analyze financial information to determine eligibility for loss mitigation programs, including loan modifications, repayment plans, and other foreclosure prevention solutions.
• Manage investor reporting and ensure servicing activities comply with regulatory and investor requirements.
• Review loan accounts, property information, consumer disputes, and bankruptcy-related matters.
• Collaborate with internal teams, investors, insurers, attorneys, and external partners to resolve complex situations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records while meeting deadlines and service standards.
• Contribute to process improvements and support a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

What You'll Bring

• Associate degree and at least three years of related banking, lending, collections, servicing, or financial services experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business technology tools.
