Job summary

Happen Bank in Lehi, Utah is seeking a Lending Payment Services Manager to lead core lending payment operations and maintain strong control environments. You will own key processes, support cross-functional initiatives, and drive efficiency with a hands-on approach.

The role emphasizes operational ownership, risk mitigation, and collaboration with Engineering and other teams to modernize treasury workflows and ensure compliance across transactions.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Lending Operations and payment services processes.
• Experience owning and managing key compliance controls (e.g., SOC 1).
• Ability to improve processes, implement controls, and mitigate operational risk.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and data validation.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash movements between borrowers and investors via ACH, wires, and checks.
• Perform daily reconciliations between system activity and cash transactions.
• Investigate, identify, and resolve operational issues and discrepancies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline treasury processes and enhance SOPs.
• Identify, document, and implement treasury-related controls to strengthen risk management.
