Job summary

Kiva is a global nonprofit expanding financial access through crowdfunded loans. We are hiring to support the U.S. lending program by guiding entrepreneurs from application through fundraising.

In this role, you will work closely with the Operations team on loan reviews, borrower support, and delinquency management, screen and approve loan applications, and pilot process improvements with partnerships on special projects.

Qualifications

• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
• Highly proactive, organized, and able to work independently.
• Intermediate skills in Google Docs, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• You will support the U.S. lending program by helping entrepreneurs from application through fundraising.
• You will work closely with the Operations team on loan reviews, borrower support, and delinquency management.
• Screen and approve loan applications alongside the review team.
• Support borrowers via text and phone and manage repayment plans.
• Pilot process improvements and collaborate with partnerships on special projects.
