Job summary

Direct Travel, Inc. is seeking a Leisure Travel Advisor to build a client base, plan itineraries, and sell travel supplier products. You will network through Virtuoso marketing, local events, and personal connections while delivering top-tier customer service.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of leisure travel experience, 3+ years of GDS usage (Apollo or Sabre), and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent business education. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a professional image are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leisure industry experience.
• 3+ years GDS (Apollo or Sabre) experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business education preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
• Demonstrated professional customer service skills
• Ability to work nights and weekends when needed
• Capability of maintaining a favorable company image when interfacing with outside sources
• Proven pursuit of learning and self-development
• Ability to demonstrate personal and organizational integrity
• Capability of working in a team environment supporting management and staff, following policies, providing feedback, assisting in special projects, and taking on additional responsibility
