Job summary

Internova Travel Group, based in Woodmere NY, seeks a Luxury Leisure Travel Consultant to support an Independent Advisor with a high-volume leisure business. You will research and book luxury travel options, including hotels, villas, yachts, cruises, and full-service concierge, while staying current on destinations, prices, and travel documents.

The role requires 3+ years in luxury leisure hospitality and at least 1 year of Sabre experience, with excellent verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Research and execute client luxury leisure bookings including hotels, villas, yachts, cruises and dining arrangements.

• Ensure clients are aware of travel documents and health requirements.
• Review client reservations for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain ownership of client records through departure.
• Handle re-routing, exchanges and invoicing; manage spreadsheets.
• Update client profiles and research travel-related solutions.
• Apply airline rules to travel arrangements and follow up after trips.
• Familiarize with AXUS digital itinerary platform and take on other duties.

Responsibilities

The Luxury Leisure Travel Consultant will be responsible for providing support to an Independent Advisor with a high-volume leisure business. This individual is expected to assess the client’s needs and provide travel options that meet their expectations.

This is a full in-office position based in our Woodmere, NY office.

• Research and execute client luxury leisure bookings, including hotel and villas, yachts, cruises, dining arrangements, trip proposals, and full-service concierge.
• Investigate different travel destination options, travel prices, and customs.
• Suggest suitable travel options that best suit customer's needs.
• Is knowledgeable about world events and weather that might affect travel plans.
• Ensure that client is aware of all necessary travel documents and health requirements for countries to be visited.
• Independently review client reservations for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain ownership of each client record until departure to ensure all details are completed to the client's satisfaction.
• Access queues throughout the day
• Handle re-routing and exchange processes as necessary
• Prepare invoices, handle bookings, and manage spreadsheets
• Update client profiles as needed
• Research and provide solutions to any travel-related problem clients may experience.
• Maintain awareness of all airline rules and regulations and accurately applies this knowledge to all travel arrangements.
• Follow up with clients upon their return, obtain feedback, and offer to assist with future travel plans.
• Understanding and implementing AXUS digital itinerary platform (can be taught as needed).
• Perform additional duties/projects upon request.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of experience in the luxury leisure sector of the hospitality industry.
• Minimum of one (1) year of Sabre experience.
• Competency with all ticketing processes including exchanges.
• Experience with high end and high demand travelers.
• Ability to function in a fast –paced, demanding environment with little supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
