Job summary

The Legislative Research Council in Pierre, SD is seeking a permanent, full-time Legislative Editor to support the legislative process. The editor will assist Operations and the Code Counsel, proof documents, and prepare session materials for distribution.

Responsibilities

• Printing and delivering all necessary session paperwork.
• Assist in proofing the yearly Session Laws and Codified Laws.
• Serve as committee secretary for the Rules Review and Code Commission Committees.
• Compile and publish the South Dakota Register.
• Proof and update Administrative Rules.
• Compile and send LRC style and form rules packets to agencies.
• Edit and format all office publications.
• Other duties as assigned.
