Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to interact with customers and team members, support selling initiatives and perform assigned tasks, while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. The role emphasizes attendance, flexible hours, and a variety of duties from stocking to cashiering and bird-care.

The position may involve forklift/baler duties and propane-related training, with opportunities for growth within our store team.

Qualifications

• No experience required; Retail or farming-related knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts including varied hours, nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Greet the customer and uncover needs & wants; recommend product solutions.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Merchandise recovery and Plan-o-grams; assemble merchandise.
• Perform janitorial duties and execute price changes/markdowns.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure Legendary customer experience.
• Ensure safety and well-being of birds; sanitize poultry holding tanks.
