Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking Team Members to interact with customers and fellow team members, support selling initiatives, and complete assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Role emphasizes attendance, flexible hours, and performing duties from cashiering to merchandising, stock, and animal care. The store environment is indoors with a variety of responsibilities across shifts.

Qualifications

• No experience required. Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; basic computer skills; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts with varied hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet the Customer; Uncover Needs & Wants; Recommend Product Solutions; Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Complete merchandising duties: planograms, stocking, and price changes.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and maintain store cleanliness.
• Ensure safety and well-being of birds and poultry in care.
