Job summary

Cooley LLP seeks an Innovation Counsel to join the Practice Innovation team. This role, reporting to the Lead Innovation Counsel, advances initiatives that maximize the value of the firm's innovation technologies and practices.

You will collaborate with practice group leadership, knowledge management, pricing, and education teams to drive best practices and scalable processes. The role requires 4+ years in legal tech adoption, a JD, and strong ability to translate technical concepts for lawyers

Qualifications

4+ years direct applicable experience in a legal technology adoption role or hands-on legal practice

Responsibilities

Support and input on legal technology adoption initiatives for practice groups
Design and prepare playbooks to guide best practices in using innovation technologies
Organize presentations, status reports, and executive briefings
Collaborate with leadership across innovation, operations, technology and practice groups
Drive pilots, deployments, proofs of concept, and continuous improvements in practice groups
Develop and maintain practice group resources and support change management campaigns
