Job summary

First Citizens Bank seeks an experienced Legal Operations professional to drive technology administration, data analytics, and reporting within the Corporate Legal Department. The role focuses on CounselLink administration, power BI dashboards, and process automation to optimize legal operations and spend management.

Hybrid role based in Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC, reporting to the Head of Legal Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years' experience OR High School Diploma with 10 years' experience in Legal Operations, E-billing, Legal Assistant/Paralegal Support, and/or Financial Reporting.
• Hands-on CounselLink e-billing administration (2-5 years).
• Strong Excel and reporting skills; familiarity with analytics tools is a plus.
• Excellent PPT and Power BI capabilities; data storytelling is essential.
• Familiarity with COUPA, iCertis and Archer software.

Responsibilities

• Lead Legal Technology & Systems Administration for CounselLink platform including configuration, access, workflows and integrations.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and automated reports for legal spend, matter management, and budgeting.
• Support data analytics, reporting automation, and cross-functional collaboration with IT, Finance and Procurement.
• Ensure data quality, system integrity, and vendor coordination for legal tech implementations.
• Create training materials and SOPs; conduct user training and ongoing support.
