Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP is seeking a Legal Talent Acquisition Specialist in Washington, DC to lead student recruiting and summer program execution. The role collaborates with senior managers, hiring partners, and office leadership to attract, hire, and integrate top law students and IP professionals.

Responsibilities include campus recruiting, onboarding, event planning, and coordinating across offices, with lateral recruiting support and data-driven reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of legal recruiting experience in a law firm or comparable professional services environment.
• Experience with lateral attorney recruiting, including working with search firms and supporting the offer process.
• Working knowledge of NALP guidelines, student recruiting processes and law school cycles.
• Experience coordinating recruiting across multiple office locations; IP/tech recruiting a plus.
• Proven event planning and program management experience with budgeting and vendor coordination.
• Interview techniques, applicant screening, and offer coordination.
• Proficient with applicant tracking systems; report writing; databases (Aderant/viRecruit, Dayforce, Florecruit).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; SharePoint; internet research; AI recruiting tools a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

Responsabilités

• Supports campus recruiting and law school relations, including onboarding and communications.
• Manages on-campus events, interviews, and program logistics across offices.
• Coordinates summer associate program including schedules, reviews, and communications.
• Assists with lateral recruiting, offers, and onboarding processes.
• Produces recruiting reports and metrics; manages budgets and vendor relations.
• Maintains recruiting content on intranet and external sites; stays current on trends.
