As an experienced member of the Legal Resource Center (LRC), the Legal Support Specialist II (LSS II) provides advanced administrative and legal support to attorneys firm wide. The LSS II works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team environment to deliver the highest level of service to internal and external clients. Associate’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree a plus. 4-5 years of Legal Assistant experience in a law firm required, including litigation experience. Strong interpersonal, client service, and teamwork skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to remain professional, composed, and tactful in high-pressure situations. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong judgment and attention to detail. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion. Technology-savvy with a proactive approach to learning new tools and improving efficiency. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and law firm software applications. Familiarity with basic graphics and image editing functions, including resizing, copying, and pasting. Strong proofreading, typing accuracy, and document quality control skills. Ability and desire to train, mentor, and support colleagues. Various physical activities may be required as part of the role.
