The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an entry-level position supporting the Department of Justice Criminal Fraud Section on critical matters? This role offers an opportunity to develop document management skills, assist in case management, and maintain databases in a litigation support capacity. You will gain experience with automated litigation support and eDiscovery tools, working closely with Health Care Fraud attorneys in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include supporting witness interviews, deposition prep, and courtroom trial support. Responsibilities:

Required:

  • Perform functions of Document Management Technician, including detailed review and analysis of case materials across various subject matters such as financial records and healthcare materials.
  • Indexing case files, drafting procedures, handling document acquisition, and conducting database searches.
  • Proofread and edit deliverables.
  • Serve as team leader for larger groups of technicians and clerical staff when needed.
  • Work with minimal supervision, reporting to Task or Project Supervisor.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • One year of experience in litigation support projects or an undergraduate degree.
  • Relevant coursework or experience in finance, healthcare, legal environment, or IT may be required for certain assignments.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
  • Hands-on familiarity with government office/network environments, including data processing, office automation, databases like Oracle, Relativity, Trial Director, etc.

Desired:

  • Experience with automated litigation support and eDiscovery.
  • Ability to perform quality control and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Attention to detail and professionalism, especially when working on-site with government clients.
  • Relativity experience, document review skills, bilingual abilities preferred.

This position depends on funding and may be filled immediately. Applicants may also be considered for other roles within CACI.

Pay Range:

This role is covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay will meet or exceed the Department of Labor's wage determination, with a minimum hourly wage of $22.72.
