AppleOne Employment Services seeks a skilled Legal Secretary to support attorneys with administrative and litigation tasks in a busy office in Riverside, CA. The role involves preparing legal documents, managing case files, calendaring deadlines, and assisting trial preparation to ensure smooth workflow during peak activity.
The ideal candidate has five years of legal secretarial experience and may substitute related education for part of the experience.
Brief overview of assignment: The candidate will provide essential administrative and litigation support to the Attorney’s Office during a period of increased operational demand. The office is anticipating several trials within the next year, requiring additional assistance in preparing legal documents, managing case files, coordinating court deadlines, calendaring, and supporting trial preparation activities. The individual in this role will work closely with attorneys and legal support staff to ensure timely completion of tasks and smooth workflow throughout the trial preparation process. Due to the complexity and volume of upcoming cases, candidates with extensive legal secretary experience are highly preferred. The selected individual may support any of the three divisions in the Attorney’s Office including Litigation, Public Safety, and/or Municipal Services.
