J&T Business Consulting in Madison, WI seeks an Office Operations Manager to oversee facilities, office operations, and administrative support. The role supervises legal support staff to ensure efficient, high-quality service aligned with client standards.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in legal support functions and strong leadership to coach staff and optimize workflows across the organization.

Competenze

• Experience supervising legal assistants or paralegals.
• Progressive experience in legal operations or office management preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and practice management software.

Mansioni

• Directly oversee legal assistants, paralegals, and office services staff including hiring, onboarding, training, development, and performance management.
• Supervise staffing resources, workload distribution, coverage needs (PTO/remote work), and shifts in assignments.
• Serve as primary point of contact for attorneys to ensure effective support and alignment with practice group needs.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and career development opportunities for staff.
• Coordinate day-to-day tasks for Office Services staff and make operational decisions that promote efficiency.
• Develop, enforce, and train staff and attorneys on best practices, workflows, and SOPs.
• Act as backup—and oversee the backup program—for legal assistants, paralegals, and Office Services positions.
