Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical abilities for AFAs and cost analyses.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of legal tech platforms (e-billing, matter management, knowledge management).
• Coordinate vendor management, track outside counsel performance, process invoices, maintain vendor records.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations on law dept metrics and spend trends.
• Conduct financial analysis of law dept spend, review law firm pricing structures.
• Build financial models to analyze AFAs, prompt pay, volume discounts, and other fee structures.
• Support pricing reviews and value assessments to inform negotiation strategies.
• Work guided by precedents and documented procedures with some interpretation.
