Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Legal Operations Professional to organize and analyze law department data, including matter management metrics, outside counsel spend, and benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in legal operations, legal support, knowledge management, or similar environment.
• Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to support operational reporting and decision-making.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills for evaluating fee arrangements and cost analyses.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration and maintenance of legal technology platforms (e-billing, matter management, knowledge management).
• Coordinate vendor management, including tracking outside counsel performance and processing invoices.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations on law department metrics and spend trends.
• Conduct financial analysis of law department spend data and evaluate pricing structures.
• Create financial models for AFAs, discounts, and other fee structures to optimize spend.
