Job summary

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years in legal operations or related fields, with strong Excel skills and advanced data analysis capabilities. Occasional in-office attendance is expected at Humana’s offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1+ years experience in legal operations, legal support, knowledge management, or related professional services.
• Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to support reporting and decision-making.
• 1+ years of experience with financial analysis, including building financial models and pricing reviews or cost assessments.
• Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with evaluating fee arrangements and cost analyses.
• Advanced Excel proficiency for financial modeling and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Help administer and maintain legal technology platforms such as e-billing and matter management.
• Assist with vendor management coordination, including tracking outside counsel performance and invoices.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations on law department metrics and spend trends.
• Conduct financial analysis of law department spend data and pricing structures.
• Create financial models to analyze AFAs, discounts, volume pricing, and cost savings.
• Support pricing reviews and value assessments to inform negotiations.
• Work guided by precedent and documented procedures with some interpretation.
