Description du poste

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Legal Operations Analyst based in the United States.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Operations Analyst to support contract management, legal technology administration, and financial operations within a globally distributed technology organization.

In this role, you will help streamline legal workflows, coordinate contract reviews, monitor outside counsel expenses, and maintain the systems that connect the legal team with the wider business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, Product, and Engineering, to improve efficiency and ensure smooth operational processes. Leveraging contract lifecycle management platforms and AI-powered tools, you will contribute to smarter contract reviews, workflow automation, and data-driven decision-making. This fully remote opportunity offers hands-on responsibility, exposure to emerging legal technologies, and opportunities to develop expertise in AI-assisted legal operations. You will play an important role in strengthening processes, supporting internal stakeholders, and helping the legal function scale effectively.

Accountabilities
  • Manage contract intake, routing, approval workflows, and signature coordination, ensuring requests are processed efficiently and stakeholders receive timely updates.
  • Review contracts against established playbooks and use AI-assisted tools to identify nonstandard terms, potential issues, and questions requiring attorney review.
  • Support outside counsel billing operations by reviewing invoices, monitoring compliance with billing guidelines, tracking accruals, and maintaining accurate legal spend records.
  • Administer legal technology platforms, including contract lifecycle management and legal spend management systems, by maintaining workflows, assisting users, and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Use and improve AI-assisted workflows for contract intake, drafting, and review by refining prompts, evaluating outputs, and incorporating approved playbooks and attorney feedback.
  • Support pilots of new AI tools and use cases by collecting user feedback and monitoring accuracy, adoption, and time savings.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, templates, contract playbooks, and knowledge resources to promote consistency and improve access to legal guidance.
  • Train internal stakeholders on legal technology platforms, established procedures, and responsible AI usage.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports tracking contract volumes, turnaround times, workflow performance, and outside counsel spending, translating data into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on systems integrations, workflow enhancements, and process improvement initiatives that reduce manual work and increase operational efficiency.
  • Help stakeholders navigate legal tools and processes, respond to contract status inquiries, and resolve routine operational questions.
  • Maintain accurate legal operations data and documentation while identifying opportunities to improve reporting, automation, and service delivery.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in legal operations, contract management, paralegal work, or a related operational role, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
  • Hands-on experience with a contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform, such as Ironclad, Icertis, Agiloft, or DocuSign CLM.
  • Practical experience supporting contract intake, review coordination, approval workflows, and signature processes.
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI tools to legal or operational tasks, including developing prompts, reviewing outputs for accuracy, and refining results.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound professional judgment, including the ability to follow established procedures, recognize exceptions, and elevate questions or issues appropriately.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively, manage expectations, and follow through on responsibilities within a remote team.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Familiarity with legal technology platforms such as Ironclad, Wordsmith, Brightflag, or comparable tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of outside counsel billing, invoice review, accrual tracking, and legal spend reporting is an advantage.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Zip, or other systems integrated with legal workflows is beneficial.
  • Experience maintaining dashboards, reports, contract playbooks, standard operating procedures, templates, or training materials is preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting a small in-house legal team is an asset.
  • Familiarity with SaaS agreements, commercial order forms, and commercial open-source licensing is advantageous.
  • Experience testing, evaluating, or improving AI-assisted workflows is preferred.
  • A proactive, curious, and adaptable mindset, with an interest in legal technology, process improvement, and the responsible use of AI.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer-sponsored visa support, now or in the future.
Benefits
