Job summary

Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP is seeking a Learning and Development Assistant in New York. The role supports the L&D team with administrative tasks, planning, and development of the training curriculum to ensure attorneys are equipped with essential skills.

Strong organizational ability and attention to detail are required. The position involves coordinating New Associate Orientation, Core Curriculum, and CLE programs, liaising with firm departments and supporting the L&D Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services preferred.
• Strong project and events planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing New Associate Orientation and Core Curriculum trainings; manage invitations, reminders and surveys; track attendance.
• Coordinate with catering, facilities, A/V, IT for live and online events.
• Prepare training materials with accuracy; keep firm resources up-to-date.
• Publicize training resources; collaborate with talent teams and other offices.
