Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a legal assistant, paralegal, or client intake role preferred.
• Familiarity with legal terminology, documentation, and court procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client intake interviews, gathering and documenting case information accurately.
• Screen potential clients to determine eligibility and case viability.
• Maintain and organize legal files, records, and case management databases.
• Draft and prepare legal correspondence, forms, and documents as directed by attorneys.
• Schedule consultations, hearings, and appointments for attorneys and clients.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties via phone and email.
• Follow up with prospective clients and track intake pipeline progress.
