Job summary

Evans & Dixon LLC in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a part-time File Clerk to support our Collections team. This fast-paced role requires organization, reliability, and discretion handling sensitive legal documents.

You will manage electronic and physical filing, scan and label documents, assist paralegals and attorneys, and help prepare garnishment statements while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to firm procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and discretion.
• Ability to lift file boxes and handle shredding.
• Self-motivated with good time management.
• Experience with filing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain electronic filing systems with digital documents.
• Scan, upload, and label documents in databases.
• Maintain physical filing systems and securely store paperwork.
• Provide admin support to paralegals and attorneys, including document prep.
• Prepare Garnishment Statement of Judgment Balances every six months.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information.
• Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
