Job summary

Cooley LLP is seeking a Document Specialist to join the Document Processing team. The specialist will provide document production and processing support across domestic and international locations, ensuring high-quality customer service and precision in document handling.

Responsibilities include creating and revising documents in Office apps, converting and formatting files, transcribing dictation, proofreading, and assisting users with software issues. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related firm applications.
• Able to work overtime and flexible schedules as required.
• Knowledge of iManage, Visio, Acrobat, IntApp, eDictation, Litera, Compare and Best Authority.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise documents in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; convert PDFs and reformat with Cooley templates.
• Transcribe dictation files and proofread edits for accuracy.
• Troubleshoot issues in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related software; assist users with document problems.
• Create fill-in forms in Acrobat and generate Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities.
• Log work and cost recovery information; handle occasional multi-location support.
