Job summary

The New York County District Attorney's Office is seeking a Discovery Specialist in the Case Management Services (CMS) department. The role supports CMS operations, data entry, and discovery analysis for prosecutions in Manhattan and beyond.

Responsibilities include liaising with Grand Jury staff, entering events in the CEE system, requesting minutes and transfers, and assisting ADAs with queries while maintaining high data accuracy and tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; related experience may be considered.
• Strong data accuracy and organizational skills required.
• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of SQL and City systems preferred.
• Experience with government databases and CMS processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Grand Jury Wardens, Clerks Office, and Court Clerks.
• Enter Grand Jury events and related data into the Court Event Entry system (CEE).
• Request Grand Jury minutes and court transfer requests for indicted cases.
• Create Supreme Court jackets and audit Grand Jury term-end activities.
• Enter and audit Supreme Court cases in CEE; assist ADAs with inquiries.
• File DANY indictments using E-Filing.
