City of New York seeks a Staff Analyst to support Agency-Based Discovery by collecting and analyzing data, evaluating operations, and improving efficiency across city agencies. You will work with management to ensure accurate data collection, develop training protocols, and process discovery requests promptly.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work independently and in teams, and proficiency with Excel/Office and SQL-based databases.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or JD in a relevant field as described in the ad.
• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of budget, accounting, or financial administration experience; or equivalent.
• Associate degree with 4 years of experience; or equivalent combined education/experience.
• High school diploma with 6 years of related experience; or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Collect and analyze data; ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Prepare reports with findings and recommendations for efficiency.
• Communicate reports and pending requests with Law Department and client agencies.
• Develop quality assurance methods to resolve issues.
• Prepare and conduct searches in client agency systems for discovery responses.
