Job summary

Knox Attorney Services in downtown San Diego is seeking a full-time legal copying and scanning technician. Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, performing high-volume copying, scanning, and related duties for legal documents.

You will handle complex copying requests, operate fast scanners, and ensure documents are properly indexed and Bates-stamped for e-discovery. Prior law office experience is helpful; must stay on feet for 8 hours and lift up to 20 lbs.

• Ability to work at a fast pace with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume photocopying, printing, and binding of legal documents.
• Execute complex copying requests (reduction/enlargement, Bates numbering, double-sided copies, special paper).
• Operate and troubleshoot high-speed scanners; transcribe to digital formats (PDF, TIFF, JPEG).
• Quality checks and ensure confidentiality of sensitive material.
