Job summary

Scion Staffing has been engaged to fill a Legal Client Services Manager role for a nationally recognized law firm, based in Nashville. This position partners with firm leadership and clients to oversee client and matter administration from intake to billing while driving efficiency and service improvements.

Ideal candidates bring strong legal operations or billing expertise, exceptional relationship management, and the capacity to support senior stakeholders with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in legal operations, billing, or client/financial operations.
• Experience with Am Law 200 or large law firms preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate with partners, clients, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with partners and client legal operations teams for client administration, billing, and operations.
• Manage full new business and matter intake lifecycle including openings, conflicts, staffing, and guidelines.
• Oversee billing operations, invoice review, e-billing, write-offs, accruals, and budgets.
• Provide reporting on work-in-progress, billing, collections, and financial performance to partners.
• Collaborate with pricing, accounting, and other teams to adjust rates and staffing as needed.
• Identify and implement processes to improve efficiency, compliance, and client service.
