- Review incoming materials for completeness, consistency, legibility, and apparent discrepancies; identify deficiencies and elevate material factual, eligibility, deadline, or client-welfare issues to supervising counsel.
- Track court-ordered deadlines, firm deadlines, discovery obligations, deficiency notices, MDL or coordinated-proceeding requirements, and settlement-program milestones.
- Prepare accurate factual case summaries, chronologies, status reports, and internal task updates for attorney review.
- Maintain complete electronic case files, including correspondence, records, signed documents, notes, and task history, in accordance with firm procedures.
- Coordinate client appointments, document-signing sessions, medical-record retrieval activities, and other case-related logistics.
- Enter, update, and audit claimant data in case-management, document-management, and communication platforms; follow established data-quality and naming-convention standards.
- Protect confidential, privileged, and personally identifiable information and comply with firm policies regarding records handling, secure communications, and document retention.
- Perform other case-support responsibilities as assigned.

- Sound judgment regarding when to escape issues to an attorney or supervisor.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to learn legal case-management and document-management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive personal information with professionalism and discretion.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree, bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or comparable relevant experience preferred.

- Familiarity with legal terminology, client-intake processes, medical-record collection, HIPAA authorizations, and litigation or claims workflows.
- Experience working with high-volume caseloads, task queues, CRM platforms, or legal case-management systems.
- Paralegal, administrative, customer-service, healthcare records, legal support, and/or call-center experience preferred.
