Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys is seeking a motivated Case Assistant to join our legal team in Baton Rouge. This entry-level position offers the chance to learn in a fast-paced environment, handle diverse case files, and work closely with attorneys and staff.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a law firm is a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting with management and organization of personal injury case files from start to finish.
• Communicating with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and others regarding case updates and documentation.
• Initiating insurance claims, verifying coverage, and assisting with related matters.
• Requesting and organizing medical records, bills, lost wage documentation, and other case information.
• Preparing correspondence and legal documents, including letters of representation and demand letters.
• Helping clients coordinate medical treatment related to injuries.
• Maintaining accurate case information, deadlines, and task reminders in the case management system.
• Providing administrative and legal support to attorneys and team members as needed.
