Job summary

Foster Garvey PC seeks a full-time Legal Billing Specialist to join our Accounting team in a role that interfaces with attorneys and clients. The ideal candidate brings a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellent service across internal and client interactions.

Candidates in the Seattle area are preferred, with flexibility for hybrid work after 60 days in the office. A 60-day in-office requirement supports client billing needs and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree with an emphasis in Accounting preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a professional services or legal setting preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience with billing; legal billing experience preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset and attention to client relations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all aspects of assigned client billing, including pre-bills, edits, and posting.
• Interface with attorneys and clients to assist with billing questions and relations.
• Communicate with diverse clients, attorneys, and staff professionally.
• Provide information in person, via email, and by phone with courtesy.
• Collaborate with Accounting to improve the billing cycle and processes.
• Coordinate and ensure compliance with client e-billing requirements.
