Job summary

Foster Garvey PC in Seattle is seeking a full-time Legal Billing Specialist to join the Accounting team. This role supports pre-bills, invoices, and client billing compliance while serving as a liaison to attorneys and clients.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills, is self-motivated, and can handle confidential information. A hybrid schedule is available after 60 days in-office, with additional training and benefits across offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree with emphasis in Accounting preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a professional services or legal setting preferred.
• At least 3 years of billing experience; legal billing experience preferred.
• Any satisfactory combination of experience and education will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all aspects of client billing, including pre-bills, invoices, and posting.
• Interface with attorneys and clients to assist in billing questions and relations.
• Communicate with diverse clients, attorneys, and staff; follow instructions.
• Provide information in person, via email, and by phone with courtesy.
• Collaborate with Accounting to improve the billing cycle and processes.
• Coordinate and ensure compliance with client e-billing requirements and accruals.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
