Job summary

IntelliPro Group in Seattle, WA seeks an Accounting Clerk for a contract role (remote) to support daily legal billing operations and AP tasks. You will review invoices, ensure discounts, respond to vendors, and keep billing records up to date. Knowledge of Brightflag is required, with Zip intake experience a plus.

This 10/26/2026–7/25/2027 assignment may extend. The role requires strong finance understanding and discretion handling sensitive information within a global organization that values

Qualifications

• 3+ years understanding of finance.
• Must have Brightflag experience and learn legal billing.
• Understand legal invoicing data and maintain confidentiality.
• Billing for a law firm is strongly preferred.

Position Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day legal billing operations, including invoice processing and general accounts payable activities.
• Monitor the legal billing inbox, responding to vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries.
• Deliver responsive, high-quality service to internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Review invoices for accuracy and confirm that negotiated discounts and agreed-upon billing arrangements are appropriately applied.
• Set up and maintain legal matters within the applicable billing systems.
• Assist with accounts payable projects and other operational priorities as assigned.
• Experience with Brightflag or a comparable legal billing platform is a plus.
• Experience with the Zip intake and orchestration platform is a plus.

Day to Day responsibilities

• Communication with vendor, internal & external communication, invoicing, review, update approvals, manage legal inquiried, financial admin lift of all legal spend, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years understanding of finance
• MUST have Brightflag experience (which is company's legal billing tool).
• Hiring manager feels that any candidate that has this experience will have what they are looking for as they must understand legal accounting.
• Must have an understanding of the legal invoicing info and remain very secure/confidential.
• Size or type of previous employment does not matter, although strong preference is candidates who have done the billing for a law firm!

Soft skills

• Excellent communication skills and extremely professional/sharp, as they will be working with legal entities.
