Job summary

Dale Workforce Solutions is seeking a capable Legal Billing Analyst in Wheeling, WV for a hybrid role with on-site presence one day per week. You will collaborate with attorneys, secretaries, and clients to manage complex billing processes with accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include creating billing schedules, reviewing pre-bills, processing write-offs, and producing monthly reports, while maintaining billingpolicies and utilizing CMS, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications

• College level accounting classes or Accounting Degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3+ years hands-on professional experience.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Legal Billing Analyst

Location: Wheeling, WV (Hybrid 1 day on site per week)

Work Hours: 12pm - 9 pm

Overview

A client of DWS has an excellent opportunity for a Legal Billing Analyst in Wheeling, WV. In this role, you'll collaborate with attorneys, secretaries, and clients to manage complex billing processes with accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Create billing schedules and various other billing analyses as required
• Maintain a portfolio of billing attorneys.
• Review and edit pre-bills in response to attorney and secretary requests.
• Process write-offs following Firm policy.
• Ability to handle a high volume of complex bills in a timely manner (i.e., multiple discounts by matter, split-party billing, preparation of electronic bills).
• Ability to effectively interact and communicate with attorneys, secretaries, and clients.
• Review and verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation as required.
• Research and respond to inquiries regarding billing issues and problems.
• Work with applications team to create and implement new billing formats.
• Create and distribute monthly reports.
• Adhere to Firm billing policies.
• Utilize computerized accounting and payables software programs (CMS, Excel, Word) to perform duties and responsibilities.
• Ensure strict confidentiality at all times.
• Assist with special projects, other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
