Job summary

Dale Workforce Solutions is seeking a capable Legal Billing Analyst in Wheeling, WV for a hybrid role with on-site presence one day per week. You will collaborate with attorneys, secretaries, and clients to manage complex billing processes with accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include creating billing schedules, reviewing pre-bills, processing write-offs, and producing monthly reports, while maintaining billingpolicies and utilizing CMS, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications

• College level accounting classes or Accounting Degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3+ years hands-on professional experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Ability to organize work flow and use time efficiently
• Strong attention to detail
• Adapt to changing priorities and work demands
• Flexibility to work varied hours; possibly evenings/weekends

Responsibilities

• Create billing schedules and analyses as required.
• Maintain a portfolio of billing attorneys.
• Review and edit pre-bills in response to requests.
• Process write-offs following Firm policy.
• Handle high volume of complex bills with discounts and split-party billing.
• Interact with attorneys, secretaries, and clients.
• Verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation.
• Research and respond to billing inquiries and issues.
• Collaborate with applications team to implement new billing formats.
• Create and distribute monthly reports.
• Adhere to Firm billing policies.
• Utilize CMS, Excel, and Word to perform duties.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.
• Assist with special projects and other duties.
