Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services is seeking an in-house legal assistant to support 2+ attorneys in Boca Raton or Maitland, FL. The role requires 2+ years in Florida workers’ compensation and strong MS Office skills. You will manage calendars, draft pleadings, and coordinate depositions.

The position operates in a hybrid model with 4 days in office and 1 day remote, supporting a fast-paced office environment and ensuring timely document processing and communications.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years Florida workers' compensation experience.
• Typing speed of at least 70 wpm and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Legal Assistant support to 2+ Attorneys.
• Identify and flag critical documents with deadlines to protect clients and company.
• Coordinate meetings, hearings, and depositions; manage attorney calendars.
• Prepare draft templates for pleadings, motions, and letters for attorney review.
• Assemble medical packets and document production for experts and claims.
• Maintain data integrity in the document management system and support paperless operations.
