Our well-established law firm in Pennsylvania is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a professional with strong organizational and communication skills who is looking to work in a collaborative, client-focused legal environment. Litigation experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents and correspondence.
  • Handle proofreading, scanning projects, and assembling binders.
  • File legal pleadings with courts and administrative agencies, including e-filings.
  • Edit legal documents such as briefs and interrogatories.
  • Process new client matters and assist with opening and maintaining case files.
  • Enter, review, and revise attorneys' time entries.
  • Create and update Excel spreadsheets using basic formulas.
  • Manage PDF files including converting, extracting, and form creation.
  • Schedule meetings, manage attorney calendars, and prepare expense reports.
  • Keep the reception area clean and professional; manage office supplies and inventory.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and faxing.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls; greet and direct office visitors.
Qualifications
  • Experience as a Legal or Administrative Assistant required; litigation experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and work under deadlines.
  • Flexible and dependable, with a commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
