Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with proofreading/editing skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, and prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, briefs, discovery materials, and other litigation documents.
  • Open, organize, and maintain client and matter files in accordance with firm procedures.
  • Assist with case management, including monitoring deadlines, tracking case activity, and coordinating litigation-related tasks.
  • Format and file documents in state and federal courts, including electronic filings.
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule depositions, hearings, conferences, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Track court dates, filing deadlines, and discovery obligations.
  • Process attorney expense reimbursements and other administrative support tasks.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client and case-related information.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to ensure timely completion of assignments.

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to attorneys and paralegals in a fast-paced litigation practice. Key Responsibilities
