Litigation Legal Assistant
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid)
Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr
About the Role: Our client, a well-established law firm in Pittsburgh, is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and the opportunity to support attorneys on complex litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, file, and e-file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in state and federal courts.
- Assist attorneys with case management, including scheduling hearings, depositions, and trial dates.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court rules.
- Coordinate discovery processes, including document collection and production.
- Draft correspondence and assist with preparation of exhibits and trial binders.
- Communicate with clients, courts, and vendors to facilitate case progress.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a litigation legal assistant or paralegal in a law firm setting.
- Strong proficiency with e-filing systems and familiarity with court procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information
- Personal Time Off (PTO) offered on an accrual basis up to 184 hours a year, 13 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
