LHH is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant for an onsite contract/temporary opportunity. This position will support attorneys and legal teams by providing administrative, documentation, and case management assistance in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, professional, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Prepare, edit, proofread, and file legal documents and correspondence.
Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and track important deadlines.
Draft and revise legal forms, contract amendments, and routine correspondence.
Organize and maintain legal files, records, and document management systems.
Coordinate document execution and collect required signatures.
Assist with legal research and information gathering.
Communicate with clients, courts, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Support litigation, contract administration, and general legal department operations.
Manage multiple requests while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
Perform additional administrative and legal support duties as assigned.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or related role.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
Experience working within a law firm or corporate legal department.
Knowledge of legal terminology, court filings, and legal documentation processes.
Experience supporting litigation, contracts, or compliance functions.
Paralegal Certificate or related education is a plus.
