The Nemecek Firm, Ltd. in Columbus, OH is seeking an Immigration Legal Assistant to support attorneys from intake through filing and follow up.
This client-facing role focuses on gathering information, preparing documents, and tracking deadlines to keep cases moving forward. You will work with attorneys and staff to organize files, communicate with clients, and manage numerous immigration matters, including forms and government agency correspondence.

We are seeking an organized and compassionate Immigration Legal Assistant to support our attorneys and help manage immigration matters from intake through filing and follow up. This is a client facing position focused on gathering and organizing information, preparing legal documents, tracking deadlines, and helping ensure cases move forward efficiently.
Experience in immigration law, a law firm, or another legal support position is helpful but not required. Experience preparing immigration forms, working with government agencies, or using legal case management systems is also helpful.
Candidates who are fluent in a language other than English will receive additional consideration, although foreign language fluency is not required.

The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour.
Starting pay will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, language proficiency, technical knowledge, and other job related qualifications.
This is a full time, in person position based in downtown Columbus, Ohio. The regular schedule is 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
