Job summary

Lisinski Law Firm seeks a Staff Attorney to support immigration clients through calls, explanations, and case updates. The role includes reviewing draft applications and collaborating with Senior Attorneys, with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet daily case-review goals. Training will be provided, and there is opportunity for growth.

Ideal candidates hold a J.D. from an ABA‑accredited school and active bar membership; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct client calls to answer legal questions and provide case status updates.

  • Identify, track, and edit documents before submission.
  • Communicate edits effectively to team members.
  • Meet daily goals on case reviews and client calls.
  • Perform legal research on immigration law topics.

About the Role

The Staff Attorney will conduct client calls to answer legal questions, explain the immigration process, and provide case-related information, ensuring clients are informed and supported throughout their immigration journey. No immigration experience is necessary, as training will be provided on the types of cases you will be working on, but an interest in immigration law is preferred. The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented, able to follow detailed instructions, and motivated to help our clients obtain documents and stay united with their families. There is an opportunity for career growth and additional responsibilities with strong performance.

This is a Remote role for Attorneys based in The United States.

Your Key Contributions
  • Conduct client calls to answer legal questions related to their immigration cases and provide case status updates within established guidelines
  • Explain legal processes and next steps to clients in a clear, professional, and compassionate manner
  • Review draft immigration applications pursuant to instructions from Senior Attorneys
  • Identify, track, and make necessary edits prior to submission
  • Clearly communicate to other team members regarding edits
  • Meet daily goals on reviewing cases and client calls
  • Perform legal research on immigration law topics
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • The candidate should have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of a state bar
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken) is a plus
  • Ability to follow detailed directions
  • Experience using a case management software system preferred
  • Immigration law experience
  • Support mission of helping people currently living in America obtain their documents and stay together with their family
  • Computer skills (Typing - MS Word and MS Excel, Document Management-DropBox, Email - MS Outlook)
Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Compensation

The expected salary for this role is $65.000-$69.750, though the final offer will reflect several factors such as your experience, skills, and the role's location and may be outside of this range. Candidates should expect offers that reflect their individual qualifications, experience, and location. The salary provided is directional, and actual compensation may vary.
