Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Support the Legal Department with research, communication, and organizational duties.
• Assist in preparing responses to foreclosure/bankruptcy actions and other process-oriented legal tasks.

Responsibilities

• Track status of foreclosure cases
• Prepare contracts, mortgage releases/lien releases, reports, budgets, and internal communications
• Sort, analyze, and distribute mail within the legal department
• Assist Legal Counsel with word processing, filing, and document transmittal
• Transmit legal correspondence to clients, outside counsel, and court officials by email, mail, or fax
• Manage special projects, coordinate meetings, and maintain organized case files
• Update Sharepoint contracts database data entries as needed
• Conduct records and legal research and draft contracts and amendments
• Perform other tasks as assigned
