Job summary

Apolis in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Legal Analyst to provide essential support to the Legal Department on an onsite basis. The role requires handling multiple tasks, drafting documents, and coordinating with counsel and external parties.

Strong organizational and communications skills are required. Primary duties include research, data entry in SharePoint contracts database, and preparing legal documents with high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Two- or four-year paralegal degree or certificate.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a law firm, government legal dept, or corporate legal dept.
• Demonstrated independent judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing responses to foreclosure actions, bankruptcy actions, and other legal responses.
• Track foreclosure cases and Sheriff’s sales involving IHCDA.
• Prepare contracts, mortgage/lien releases, reports, and internal communications.
• Manage mail distribution within the legal department; assist with document transmittal.
