Job summary

August is hiring a Solutions Engineer to work directly with law firms, turning complex legal workflows into practical AI solutions. You will embed with clients, understand their environments, and own deployments from discovery to adoption in person at our NYC office.

You’ll run structured discovery, translate pain points into technical requirements, and build proofs‑of‑concept using APIs and scripting. This role blends hands-on engineering with client advocacy and requires strong communication.

Qualifications

• Strong technical problem-solving skills to map workflows and design AI solutions.
• Experience writing lightweight scripts; familiarity with Python or JavaScript.
• Excellent product sense to translate pain points into usable workflows.
• Business acumen and clear, confident communication with partners and technical stakeholders.
• 1–3 years in solutions engineering, implementation engineering, or similar hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to map workflows and identify AI opportunities.
• Build and test proofs-of-concept for document review and matter management.
• Configure AI workflows and perform integrations and validation.
• Lead live demos and train users; support go-live and adoption.
• Serve as technical contact and gather feedback for product improvements.
• Translate deployment findings into actionable guidance for engineering.
