Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York seeks an AI/Legal Workflow Engineer to design, develop, and improve AI-powered workflows for legal practice groups, translating tasks into AI-enabled solutions.

You will collaborate with IT, Practice Technology, Innovation, and Security teams to implement prompts, templates, and QA standards while aligning with firm workflows and attorney expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum three years’ experience in legal technology or related role.
• Experience developing or optimizing AI-enabled workflows and prompts.
• Strong knowledge of generative AI, retrieval‑augmented generation, context management, and AI evaluation.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise AI platforms and multi-step workflows.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and iterates AI-powered workflows for legal practice groups, translating tasks into AI-enabled solutions.
• Develops prompts, workflow templates, evaluation methods, and QA standards for AI tools.
• Executes firm AI strategy and contributes to roadmaps for workflow development.
• Translates requirements into AI workflow specifications and knowledge repositories.
• Monitors KPIs and attorney satisfaction to guide optimization and iteration.
• Supports pilot programs, pilots, and deployment recommendations for new workflows.
