August is building the engine that will power the largest shift in the legal industry. As a Solutions Engineer in NYC, you’ll work directly with law firms, turning complex workflows into deployable AI solutions.

You’ll embed with clients, discover requirements, prototype, and drive deployment from discovery to adoption. You’ll partner with lawyers, paralegals, and ops staff, translating pain points into actionable specs while building lightweight proofs‑of‑concept and ensuring successful

Qualifications

• Strong technical problem‑solving skills to map workflows and build practical solutions.
• Comfort writing lightweight scripts, working with APIs and structured data; Python/JS helpful.
• Clear communication to earn trust with partners and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ambiguity‑driven environment with customers in mind.

Responsabilités

• Embed with client organizations and run structured discovery across teams to map workflows and data flows.
• Translate pain points into clear requirements and practical AI solutions for lawyers and staff.
• Build and test proofs‑of‑concept for document review, intake, drafting, and matter management using APIs and automation tools.
• Configure AI workflows and integrations, troubleshoot, and validate before rollout with client systems.
• Lead demos and training sessions to help users adopt the solutions in daily practice.
• Own go‑live from kickoff through adoption, coordinating technical resources on both sides.
• Serve as a trusted technical contact for stakeholders and perform regular check‑ins and reviews.
• Provide actionable feedback to engineering with reproducible issues and integration needs.
