Job summary

August is seeking a Solutions Engineer to work directly with law firms, turning complex workflows into AI solutions. You’ll embed with clients, understand environments, and own deployments from discovery to adoption.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role with structured sessions, testing, troubleshooting, and clear communication of technical details. You will join a lean, in-person NYC team, collaborate with lawyers and technologists, and help scale AI-powered workflows across multiple matters.

Qualifications

• Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to map workflows.
• Comfort with Python or JavaScript and scripting for integrations.
• Clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Autonomy, curiosity, and comfort with ambiguity.
• 1–3 years in solutions engineering or similar hands-on role with customer interaction.
• Familiarity with AI tools and workflow automation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client organizations to discover workflows and map data flows.
• Translate pain points into actionable requirements and solutions.
• Build and test proofs-of-concept for document review, drafting, and matter management.
• Configure AI workflows and assist with integrations and validation.
• Run demos and training to drive user adoption.
• Own go-live and coordinate technical resources for deployments.
• Serve as a technical contact for client stakeholders and reviews.
• Provide feedback to engineering with reproducible issues and improvement needs.
