Job summary

Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton seeks an Applications Engineer to own and support AI and practice technology solutions. You will configure and administer enterprise apps, manage access and data governance, and coordinate with attorneys, staff and vendors to implement integrations and upgrades.

You’ll work with Information Security to align with firm policies, provide 2nd/3rd level support, and help maintain documentation and training materials for users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in application engineering/administration.
• Experience with enterprise/SaaS apps and third-party integrations.
• Translating requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical owner for assigned practice and AI technology solutions.
• Configure, customize, and administer applications including access and governance.
• Provide level 2/3 support; coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for config and data migration.
• Plan upgrades, feature releases, and ensure change-management compliance.
• Develop QA/test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing.
