A well-established law firm is seeking a Floating Legal Administrative Assistant to join its St. Louis office. This position will provide administrative support across several practice areas, including corporate, construction, labor & employment, and trusts & estates.

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to attorneys across multiple practice areas.
- Help manage attorney workflow, deadlines, priorities, and day-to-day administrative needs.
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, time entry, and transcription.
- Handle electronic court filings in Missouri and Illinois.
- Maintain case and matter files within the firm’s document management system.
- Draft, edit, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and other materials.
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with additional administrative projects and assignments as needed.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy, organization, and responsiveness.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of legal administrative assistant experience within a law firm environment preferred.
- Experience supporting litigation, estate planning, or similar legal practice areas is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe.
- Experience with legal document management systems and time-entry software preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be resourceful, flexible, and efficient while managing a high volume of priorities.
- Strong professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Recent paralegal certificate graduates may also be considered with at least one year of legal administrative experience.
