Job Title: Homeowner Association and Real Estate Law – Legal Administrative Assistant

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite Only)

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $50,000–$65,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

A well-established midsized law firm is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to support its Homeowner Association and Real Estate Law practice group. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, close-knit legal team that values high-quality service and a strong work ethic.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will assist attorneys who represent condominium and townhome associations, their boards of directors, and management-services providers. While experience in real estate, collections, or eviction law is a plus, training will be provided for candidates eager to learn and grow in this specialized area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend file review meetings and manage case scheduling and intake
  • Draft correspondence, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac letters and engagement letters
  • Open and organize case files; finalize and prepare legal documents
  • Assist with collections and eviction processes
  • Prepare governing documents for associations, manage large-scale mailings, track consents, and record documents

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a legal administrative or legal assistant role preferred
  • Knowledge of homeowner association, real estate, collections, or eviction law is beneficial but not required
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with NetDocs is a plus
